Once you have found a property which you wish to rent, you should confirm the details, agree on a date that you would like to move in and pay a nominal holding deposit to have the property removed from the market.
We normally require 3 references as follows:
- Bank (essential)
- Employer (essential)
- Previous landlord (if applicable)
- Personal - someone of standing who has known you for a number of years and can vouch for your good character.
Some landlords are happy to take pets as we insert a clause in the Agreement which says that you will put right any damage caused by your pet.
At the beginning of the tenancy we will tell you whether Priory Management or the landlord
is managing the property and you will be given contact numbers. With professionally managed properties you will be given the name of your Property Manager who you will always deal with should any problems arise.
Normally a Tenancy Agreement can be terminated on giving 2 months notice however each Tenancy Agreement should be checked.
Yes - we will require the usual references and will require an Accountant or Solicitors reference on top.
We follow ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) procedures on this. In normal circumstances the deposit should be returned to you within ten working days.
If the property is managed by Priory Management, we will arrange this apart from the telephone, television and broadband accounts which should be arranged by the Tenant directly to their chosen providers.
All Contracts are for a fixed term and therefore a new Agreement is required.
